Brussels South Charleroi Airport (BSCA)
Securing the Airport site
To ensure the comfort and safety of its passengers, Brussels South Charleroi Airport has launched a large-scale project that involves significant construction work.
The project involves the construction of a new building, the Terminal 1 border control building, as well as the redevelopment of the esplanade in front of Terminal 1, both of which will take place simultaneously on the airport site.
The new esplanade will cover an area of 8,500 m², while the Terminal 1 border control building will be a three-level building with a total area of 3,000 m². (The first two levels will be for departures and arrivals, respectively, while the third level will house the offices of Federal Police and catering activities).
