The Jodoigne bypass project is composed of three distinct sections:
- The first section extends from chaussée de Charleroi (N29) to N222, rue de la Maladrerie. This section consists of a dual carriageway connecting two roundabouts, namely "Rondpoint de la Maladrerie" on N222 and "Rondpoint Chaussée de Charleroi" on N29. It also includes a cyclo-pedestrian track, a storm basin, and an engineering structure (bridge over Grande Gette).
- The second section, which stretches from the Maladrerie roundabout to chaussée de Wavre (N240), is part of a larger development project led by Matexi and the municipality of Jodoigne.
- The third section, from the Chaussée de Charleroi roundabout to rue Piétrain (RN222), is yet to be completed and tendered for future construction.
Aside from alleviating traffic congestion in the city and promoting sustainable mobility, the project aims to connect two economic zones situated on opposite sides of the Gette river.
